When we entered the urgent care space, we made a decision to be a leader in cutting-edge technology to make healthcare as easy and accessible as possible. Several years ago, we launched online appointments – a game changer at the time, but we didn’t stop there. We are always assessing ways to innovate and improve with leading-edge technology that enhances the patient experience and guides process improvement.

We’re an Access Point

We’re an access point for patients' varied healthcare needs. This includes those who do not have a primary care physician, but also those who find they have more specialized needs after visiting one of our locations. When a patient needs follow-up or more specialized care, we make that a streamlined experience. We provide the option of care within one of our partner health systems with seamless integration.

We recognize the value of patients’ primary care physicians (PCPs) --- and we’re connected. When a patient’s PCP is affiliated with one of our partner hospital systems, records can be sent digitally to the PCP overnight. This keeps PCPs informed about their patients’ urgent care visits and provides a record of tests already performed, eliminating guesswork  and including patient encounter notes that provide a complete picture of patients’ after hours or weekend care.

At the digital check-in process in our lobbies, patients without a PCP may indicate they would like our help in finding one. When this is the case, we pass along that request to an appointment coordinator for the option of scheduling with an affiliated PCP.


MedPost Urgent Care centers are among Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s 460 outpatient facilities, which include diagnostic imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and freestanding emergency departments.
